KATIE ROOME

Katie first joined Elevation in 2015 as an architectural student, before moving to Melbourne to complete her Master of Architecture at RMIT. Her time in Melbourne gave her valuable experience in high-end residential projects and helped shape her thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to design.

Since returning to Elevation in 2021, Katie has contributed to a broad range of projects, including early learning, commercial, and education work. She brings a strong set of design and documentation skills to each project, with a particular passion for interior and detailed design. Katie enjoys exploring the relationship between architecture and interior finding harmony between the two and creating spaces that feel cohesive, functional, and beautifully resolved.

Katie is looking to continue progressing her architectural career with a stronger focus on interiors, an area she finds especially rewarding. She is always seeking opportunities to grow her expertise and expand her skillset, both creatively and technically.

Outside of work, Katie values quality time with friends and family and can often be found outdoors hiking, bushwalking, or going for a run.
