JONATHAN LANHAM

Jono joined Elevation Architecture in 2015 as an undergraduate student of design. He completed his Master of Architecture in 2017 and worked his way to achieving architectural registration in 2023.

He has developed his design and documentation expertise in education, aged care commercial and childcare, working with clients and builders under a variety of procurement strategies. He is 100% aligned with the company value of matching form and function, not seeing budget constraints as a limitation but as a challenge to overcome.

In an age of CAD visualisation and AI augmented workflows, Jono can be relied upon to break out the copic markers and layer up the trace paper to quickly resolve plans or construction details the old fashioned way. The piles of quickly drawn details floating on his desk are evidence of this. His hand drawn method is complemented by his skills as a seasoned ArchiCAD operator, whereby he is often found tutoring the office up-and-comers or providing input to the CAD management team.

Outside of work, Jono could be referred to as a social sports specialist (Div 6 hack), he relishes a cheeky cricket net sesh with the boys, going for a rock climb or running a 10k. He’ll also happily get his hands dirty at community and church events.
