EMILY SPROULE
Architect
Joining the Elevation team in 2025, Emily brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to architecture and design. With a background spanning architecture, interior design, urban and environmental planning, environmental psychology and research, Emily is passionate about designing inclusive environments where all people can thrive.
Her experience includes working with globally recognised firms such as Arup, as well as boutique practices like FMSA Architecture (now Foreground Architecture) and Plus Architecture, and within local government at Gold Coast City Council. Emily's diverse experience across both Australian and international contexts informs her holistic approach to inclusive design.
Emily has a particular interest in the relationship between neurodivergence, dementia, and spatial navigation. Her research has contributed to the development of practical design tools and checklists to support designers in creating more inclusive environments.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys riding bicycles and motorbikes, travelling, and spending time with her pampered pooch, Hazel.
