IPSWICH SHOW SOCIETY

This project involved the renovation and extension of two existing buildings on site at the Ipswich Showgrounds, with the incorporation of a new fly-roof structure in-between, to provide a modern flexible exhibition centre. The scheme revolves around the showground and public interface. The building will provide a flexible space that will be used for display of animals during the annual show including cattle and dogs, multiple food outlets, and other displays. Throughout the year the facility will be used for sport and recreation. With one of the buildings being primarily utilised as a sports centre (Indoor soccer, netball, cricket basketball etc). The other building will be used as a performance, conference and function centre.
