AXIS CHURCH NORTH LAKES

The Axis Church extension project, completed in 2024, was designed to enhance the church's facilities to support its growing ministries and strengthen its role as a community hub. The project includes a new commercial kitchen and coffee counter that seamlessly connect to a covered outdoor foyer, creating a welcoming space for fellowship and community gatherings. The site, acquired by the Wesleyan Methodist Church in 2008, was developed to serve as the new Place of Worship within the North Lakes Master Planned Community. The expansion features a multi-purpose room, a youth hall, and additional children’s facilities, all designed to support next-generation ministries and community activities. Elevation Architecture led the project from design to contract administration, ensuring a collaborative process with Axis Church and KUPA Construction. Our approach focused on open, flexible spaces with improved accessibility and usability, fostering an inclusive environment for all generations. Throughout the project, we maintained close communication with the client and builder, ensuring that the church's vision and needs were at the forefront of the development.
