The Yarrabilba Commercial Precinct brings together convenience, community, and contemporary design within one cohesive mixed-use hub. The project delivers 2,700m² of retail and commercial space to meet the needs of Yarrabilba’s rapidly expanding population. Anchored by well-known tenants, the development has been planned to support both immediate community needs and future business growth. Situated on a prominent corner site with dual street frontages, the development takes full advantage of its exposure. Buildings are strategically positioned to enhance visibility and signage opportunities, with smaller retail outlets at the front and larger tenancies to the rear, supporting clear sightlines and efficient car movement. Material selection was guided by simplicity and durability. The use of raw concrete tilt panels, brickwork, and aluminium battens creates a robust yet refined aesthetic, complemented by roof planters and a colonnade that introduce greenery and texture to the built form. Beyond its commercial offering, the Yarrabilba Commercial Precinct establishes a focal point for community activity, a place designed to serve today’s residents while supporting the suburb’s evolution into a vibrant, self-sustaining urban centre.
