HARMONY EARLY LEARNING JOURNEY BALMORAL

Elevation worked with Harmony to deliver the building approval and construction documentation for Harmony Early Learning Journey Balmoral and assisted the client and builder in dealing with the complex building code legislation. The childcare centre repurposed two Queenslander houses already on the site. The houses were raised to build basement and ground levels below, and a lightweight roof structure was introduced to the first floor. This roof floats over the new suspended play deck and forms a contemporary link between the homes. Harmony Early Learning Journey Balmoral has brought 113 childcare places to the neighbourhood for children up to 5 years of age.
