ARCARE PARKWOOD
Elevation were engaged by the client to rework and refine the design which had been designed for Development Approval by an alternative designer to make it more structurally and functionally feasible.
The design and construction of this particular aged care facility involved several complex aspects, from environmental protection overlays that needed to be adhered to, to the incredibly large amount of excavation that had to be undertaken to accommodate the basement carpark.
Through working closely and effectively with the client, the building contractor and the larger consultant team, Elevation Architecture were able to successfully deliver the two-storey, 91-bed aged care facility in October 2019, including 20 bed dedicated sensitive care area and dedicated Family Room. All suites provide access to private balconies and access to large landscaped terraced gardens.
