Elevation designed and documented the fit out of Banyans Medical Centre and Specialists Clinic, located within an existing medical precinct in Bowen Hills, Brisbane. We led the project through the design and construct process and worked with the client, builder and end user to ensure all decisions were functional, within budget and continued the desired aesthetic. The scope encompassed four suites within the building, with more than 1,000 square metres. This included the medical centre (consultant rooms, treatment rooms, pathology, pharmacy, generous reception and waiting area); the staff rooms; cafe with commercial kitchen; and wellness centre with yoga, gym and consulting rooms. The base building provided a generous ceiling height, and high-level glazing allowed natural light to flow into the consult rooms, adjoining corridors and internal spaces. Elevation developed an elegant and high-quality palette of finishes, with several feature materials and details.. All spaces are high quality, warm and inviting with a prestigious look and feel, and the wellness centre has a sophisticated club-like atmosphere.
