TAMARA BERENDS

Tamara is passionate about designing spaces where people learn, grow and feel inspired every day. With a strong focus on education architecture, she is driven by the belief that well-designed environments can shape curiosity, build confidence and strengthen community.

Naturally collaborative, Tamara believes the best architecture begins with listening. She brings genuine care to the people behind every brief and approaches each project with thoughtfulness, empathy and a strong sense of shared purpose.

Her architectural journey began in South Africa, where she completed a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Johannesburg. Now based in Brisbane, she is completing her Master of Architecture at the Queensland University of Technology, expanding her experience within the Australian context.

Outside the studio, Tamara enjoys being outdoors, hiking, running and staying active, and has a long-standing love of horses. She finds joy in activities that bring people together and values time spent with family and friends.
