Siesta Village is an ongoing master-planning project in Blackwater, involving 426 rooms in 132 cabins, 20 caravan spaces, diner and leisure amenities for a regional mining community.
With a project value of over $35 million, the masterplan divides the site into sub-communities of pods positioned around generous landscaped garden spaces.
The use of Elevation-designed modular buildings throughout the site means that significant on-site savings can be made in time and labour. Buildings are prefabricated to preferred specifications and requirements. From clustered single ensuited rooms to executive units, our designs allowed for the fast, cost-effective delivery of the entire accommodation project.

This project features a 2500m2 dining facility including kitchen, tavern and recreation deck.
Elevation Architecture was approached by a renowned modular builder to design and document this facility. We worked collaboratively with our client and specialist consultants to combine architectural flair with modular construction methodology. A large recreation deck links the tavern and dining room and connects internal spaces with recreational facilities on site.
The facility was also designed to act as a cyclone shelter (Importance Level 3 building) and complies with Queensland Public Cyclone Shelter guidelines.
